It's too Greek for Mineral Town...

Hey guys, I just had a classical civilazation lesson, and guess what? I'm feeling like Greek today! ;D

Here's what I came up with:

It has been centuries since the modern greeks had abandoned their gods, turning towards other subjects to place their faiths in.
However, the gods aren't peeved at this, and so decided to live amongst the nature as spirits free from responsibilities and cares of what the people want from them.
However, Hera, mother of the gods has spied her husband Zeus cheating on her...again! It turns out that Zeus had found a decent woman to spend some of his time with in the isolated island of Mineral Town, but somehow the jealous Hera has spotted them. Angry to the point of destruction, Hera sends down a water-demon to keep an eye on Zeus's current lover, prepared to devour her on first sight should she ever near the god again.
The Harvest Goddess, meanwhile, is angry that the Hera is bossing around in an island which doesn't belong to her, and so pleads to Zeus to get rid of the creature.
Since they hadn't been recognised as powerful beings as they should be, Zeus decides to spread his influence amongst the people by possessing the town's Mayor!
Ever since then, the mayor has become a totally different character, donning on greek robes and behaving like a chauvinist noble. He then declares that the water-demon is evil, and should be destroyed by someone strong, brave (and most important of all) cunning. Thus, he holds a greek sports event for warriors to compete, and whoever comes out as the victor shall venture out to defeat the Kappa. If they succeed, they shall be showered with whatever they wished.
However, Zeus and the Harvest Goddess knows that none of the humans has the potential of being suitable for the job, and so most of the gods will come down to earth, either to influence the people to become better at some characteristics, or as trainies in the game.

In this RPG, you can create a character to compete in the game, or just watch and have relationships with the characters.
You can do whatever you want with the game as long as its tied up to the story.
The rules of game are the same as always, but you should be specific when designing your characters.

Oooh... sounds like a cool RPG. Allow me to join. ^-^

Name: Ivy
Age: 24 in "human years". Her actual age is about 3,000.
Race: "Half-Goddess".
Description: She has shoulder-length, wavy reddish-gold hair interwoven with green vines, and wears a crown of vines. She wears a pale green toga and a green crystal necklace on a gold chain.
Interests: Nature, planting trees, caring for animals
Reason for her arrival: She was exiled from Mount Olympus and had nowhere to go and no place to live.
Brief history: She used to live on Mount Olympus with the other gods, but was exiled one day after an attempt to take over the throne. She claims she was possessed by the evil Kappa, but Zeus did not believe her, and stripped her of the majority of her powers, sending her down to earth to fend for herself.
Likes: Anything to do with nature and wild animals (She has the ability to communicate with animals. That is the only power that still remains with her after Zeus exiled her from Mount Olympus.)
Dislikes: Fire, Intense Heat, the Kappa
Lives in/currently staying in: She lives in the woods situated to the north of the Goddess's lake.

Great! Here's my character I designed:

Name: Lexine (pronounced Lex-ai-nee)
Age: 19
Race: nymph
Nationality: Greek
Description: This girl likes to wear her long dark blonde hair in a complex style, which is kind of like a cross of a bun and a pony-tail held up with woven cloth. She also wears a peplos (a short greek skirt) which plaited and dyed with black, trimmed with a beige lining sewn with floral patterns. She likes to walk around bare-footed and doesn't like to wear jewerly.
Interests: Running, playing, eating and drawing on walls (people call it graffiti, she calls it "art")
Reason for her arrival: The game! She finds the prize very alluring.
Brief history: Lexine is a wood-nymph that used to live in a forest, leading a comfy life of lounging around in the sun and being persued by naughty satyrs. When she has heard rumours of the sports event being held in Mineral town, she finds that its a good chance to do something for once, and to explore life outside of Greece. So, with a help of local sailors, and Zephyrus (god of the west wind) she went by boat to Mineral town. She is now making herself comfortable in her new home and training for the event.
Likes: food (her faves are plums), being energetic, art, playing games, boys, and confusing humans.
Dislikes: Getting caught, seeing her "artistic creations" being washed off, hearing someone whistle loudly and poorly cooked food.
Lives in/currently staying in: Up in the mountain, where the fields of flowers grow.

Intrests:Somersaulting while shooting the target,eating until bloated,sleeping until afternoon,spinning and shooting all around herself until tired, poking people with her pointy stick of doomy doomness and abusing her INCREDIBLY good luck.
Reason for her arrival:Was an accident.She was washed up here.
Brief history:Was living in a land of Fairies in the middle of the ocean until she was washed away by a Tsunami that was created by Triton.She was washed up on the Mineral beach and was found by Kai.(Kai took me in,how sweet!)
Likes:Pudding!Kai,drawing,painting,Kai's cooking(It's good!)flowers and having fun.
Dislikes:Weeds,Rick,Chickens,Vegetables,Pests,fish and "bad" food

Lexine the wood nymph watched the first of the golden rays of Helios, emerging from the eastern horizon like a giant hoisting himself from the mountains that surround the northern part of the island.
Emerging from the dark shadows of the trees, the wood nymph stretched and yawned, her mind ready for the beginning of the day.

Reason for his/her arrival (if they just arrived in town): She is the daughter of Zeus and she adores him. Therefor she seeks to help him in the turniment.
Brief history: Artemis is the twin sister of Apollo God of the sun. Because of that she is often asosiated with the moon. What she really loves though is being out in nature and feeling the adreniline flow through her blood when she is in the middle of hunt. Apollo and her father, Zeus, are the only men Atemis likes. In fact she adores them. On the other hand she hates all other men. She has even been known to kill men if they witness her bathing (she is very beautiful.) Could someone on earth ever open her heart?

Brief history: Kitty has somehow "fallen" from the sky and landed on Cliff's head. Cliff was attracted to this Kitty and decided to take care of her.

Romance - Kitty looks like a cupid, so why shouldn't she like seeing romance?

Tuna - Alot of cats love to eat a type of fish, soo.. Kitty likes to eat Tuna

Peace - Kitty loves to see some creatures making peace instead of fighting.

Dislikes:
War - Kitty doesn't like to see anyone fighting

Enemies - Kitty certainly doesn't want to see anyone being enemies to another, even to herself.

Vegstables - Kitty is more of a carnivore, so she'll always say no when asked to eat some.
