Um, Hello. I'm a fellow proboards board owner, and I was wondering how you got the extra information at the bottom? Such as, the birthday information and the colors for the names.
And how do you get the post measuring things on the bottom left of peoples posts? I just think they're nifty, so I was wondering. ^-^
Thanks, Nakamura Miharu

I used a code to get that extra information in the info centre. The code can be found at... support.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=codedatabase&action=display&n=1&thread=1130639472Go to the Admin Area, and select "Headers and Footers". The code goes into the Main Footer. Make sure to follow the directions extremely carefully. Messing up the code might result in your forum screwing up. I suggest reading all the directions over at least once before using the code. Maybe twice. Somewhere in the code, you are supposed to enter the "group numbers" for staff. Each staff group has a number, but they're difficult to find using the method given in the directions. This might help... Administrator is Group 1. Global Moderator is Group 2. Moderator is Group 3. If you create any new member groups they will be Group 4, Group 5, etc... There are several places where you have to enter the code numbers for different colors. Forum colors all have their own hex code, which is a 6-digit number in hexidecimal form... For example, 000000 would be the code for black, while FFFFFF is the code for white. If you want to find hex codes for different colors you can find them at this site: www.december.com/html/spec/color.htmlWhen you're entering the numbers into the code, don't forget to leave the # symbol there. So... it's an extremely complicated code. I can't stress it enough - make sure to read the directions veeeery carefully. If you have any questions about this make sure to ask...

No problem. ^-^ It took me a long time to understand the code. I didn't want to risk screwing up this forum, so I had to try the code out on my "test forum" first.

These codes are found on the Proboards support forum, and put into the Headers and Footers section of the admin area of Proboards forums. Admins of Proboards forums use these codes to pretty much make their forums look better.
