These are all the codes I've uploaded to this forum so far, in case anyone was wondering where all that "extra stuff" was coming from. If anyone wants to know where these codes came from, I suggest you send me a PM. I can't repost the codes myself, as that is against the Proboards rules, but I can post a link to the page on the Proboards support forum where the codes are located.
Here are the codes, in the approximate order I added them. Earliest to latest.
Report to Admin
What it Does: Puts a link at the bottom of every post that says "Report to Admin". If you click on this link, you'll be taken to a screen where you can send me a PM reporting the author of that post for what they did in that post.
Go to Your Post After Posting
What it Does: Once you submit a new post, the screen will automatically jump to your new post. You won't have to scroll down to see it.
Ultimate Info Centre Version 3
What it Does: Puts that high-tech info centre at the bottom of the main page. Doesn't it look great?
The new Info Centre shows just who's online, including how many admins are online, how many global mods, etc.
Prevent People from Just Posting Quotes
What it Does: Just what the title says. If you're quoting someone else, you have to add your own message to it or it won't let you submit the post.
Level Up Meter
What it Does: Puts that pretty level-up meter in your mini-profile, which shows exactly how close you are to achieving the next post ranking.
Locked Thread Message
What it Does: When a thread is locked or otherwise unable to be posted on, the word *Locked* is displayed up where the Reply button should have been.
Average Posts/Day in Profile
What it Does: In your profile, it will display the average number of posts you make per day beside your total post count. Sooo... if you've been a member for 5 days and your total post count is 25, it would say something like this:
Move "Hey X, you have X messages, X are new" Below the Logo
What it Does: Well, exactly what it says. It moves the welcome message below the logo. Its default position is to the right of the logo.
Switching Words Code
What it Does: Changes a certain word to another, everyone on the forum. In this case, I got the code to change "G u e s t" to Anonymous Farmer".
3-Column Welcome Table
What it Does: Puts that beautiful welcome table at the top of most pages on the forum. The table doesn't appear on pages where you're posting.
Rename News Fader
What it Does: Changes the name of the News Fader from "News" to something else. I changed it to "Daily Blah".
Money Hack Version 3
What it Does: Adds currency to the forum. People earn Forum Earnings by making posts. The admin will also give out Forum Earnings at times to deserving people. ^^
Add "Topics" and "Posts" Under Numbers on Main Page
What it Does: Puts the words "Topics" or "Posts" under the numbers of topics and posts on the main page, pretty much what the title says.
Increase Avatar Size Limits
What it Does: Increases the maximum allowable avatar size to 125x125. It used to be 100x100. It still says "Avatars must be no more than 100x100 pixels." when you go to edit your profile - just ignore that.
Funky Links
What it Does: When you position the mouse cursor above any link, two lines wipe above and below the words. It looks extremely cool. This code is just for aesthetic purposes.
Characters Left
What it does: When you go to make a regular reply to a thread, a box appears underneath the message box showing how many characters (letters, numbers etc.) you have left before you max out the character capacity of the message. The maximum number of characters a message can have is 50,000. You don't have to worry about maxing that out unless you like, write a novel or something. 50,000 characters is literally a ton.
Whisper Tags
What it Does: Text surrounded by these tags is only visible to certain members. You enter the name(s) of these member(s) into the tags. The message is invisible to all other normal members.
The main admin can see all whispers, regardless of whether or not they're directed at them.
Divided Categories
What it Does: Splits up the categories on the main page so that they're no longer crammed together into one big stack of blah. Allows you to see a bit of the background between each category.
Remove Forum Jump
What it Does: Gets rid of that "Forum Jump" drop-down menu near the bottom of every page. In my opinion, it makes the board look way nicer, less unbalanced.
As I add more codes to the forum I will list them here.
Note: I had to take out the Preview with Quick Reply code because it was interfering with the Email All function in my admin panel. When I find the latest version of the code I will put it back.
